The Association for the Development of Complementary Education - ASODECO
ASODECO is a non-profit civil association founded in Caracas, Venezuela, in August 1985, under the direction of Dr. María Isabel Vegas de Sosa and five families whose children with disabilities were part of the integrated classrooms of El Peñón School.
ASODECO's mission is to develop the potential of people with disabilities, improving their quality of life through training programs that promote empathetic, innovative, and collaborative work experiences to build a more inclusive society.
Over 36 years, 400 families from the municipalities of Baruta, El Hatillo, Sucre, Chacao, and Libertador have benefited. Around 300 young people have been trained in our association, and 160 companies have received counseling and participated in job inclusion programs.
